HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT
July 2026: The Company increased its charter capital to VND 655,382,830,000 after issuing shares to pay dividends for 2026.
The Company’s administrative jurisdiction changed from July 1, 2025, following the official merger of Can Tho, Soc Trang and Hau Giang into the new Can Tho City.
FPT School officially began operations for its first academic year.
The TDTT-01 Sports and Physical Training Area commenced construction on August 17, 2025.
The Company successfully organized the Sales Launch Ceremony and introduced new products on December 5, 2025, on the occasion of its 18th anniversary.
Approved in principle the policy of focusing on infrastructure development and calling for investment in technical infrastructure, specifically: approved the transfer of the GD-02 educational land plot to FPT Education Company Limited for the investment and development of an inter-level school.
Approved in principle the investment policy for the sports and physical training area, featuring a new sports model: water golf.
June 2023: The Board of Directors approved a Resolution on divesting the entire capital contribution in its subsidiary, Dai Phu Xuan Seafood Wholesale Company Limited.
October 2023: The Company increased its charter capital to VND 595,418,180,000 after issuing shares to pay dividends for 2022.
January 2022: The Da Nguyet Bridge was completed, becoming the second bridge within the project.
April 2022: The 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders elected the Board of Directors for the 2022–2027 term.
The Company continued to assign DKRS to distribute the second product portfolio, including Shophouse products.
The Company increased its charter capital to VND 531,995,790,000.
On January 30, 2021, PVCL held the opening ceremony of Minh Nguyet Bridge on Street No. 12 in Mekong Centre Urban Area. This was the first bridge construction project within the development, with a total investment value of more than VND 10 billion.
The Company changed its organizational and operational management model in accordance with Point b, Clause 1, Article 134 of the 2014 Law on Enterprises. The 5A Urban Area Project continued to receive approvals for the third and fourth phases of land lot sales.
On July 24, 2019, PVCL signed an exclusive brokerage contract with Danh Khoi Real Estate Services Joint Stock Company (DKRS) to assign the brokerage and distribution of products in 5A Urban Area. Accordingly, the Company also introduced the commercial name “Mekong Centre” for 5A Urban Area.
Charter capital: VND 474,998,850,000.
Pursuant to the Resolution of the 2017 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the Company successfully offered 12,000,000 privately placed shares, equivalent to VND 120,000,000,000. As a result, its charter capital increased to VND 474,998,850,000.
The Company invested in a seafood subsidiary, Dai Phu Xuan Seafood Wholesale Company Limited.
The Company officially transformed into a parent company–subsidiary model in March 2018.
On January 18, 2016, the People’s Committee of Soc Trang Province issued Decision No. 145/QD-UBND, and on April 2, 2018 issued Decision No. 770/QD-UBND for the second phase, regulating areas where land use rights could be transferred after infrastructure investment, allowing residents to build their own houses within the 5A – Mac Dinh Chi Urban Development and Resettlement Project, Ward 4, Soc Trang City, Soc Trang Province.
Accordingly, PVCL was permitted to sell land lots in certain areas of 5A Urban Area for residents to build their own houses, opening a new period that helped remove difficulties in the business development of the residential project.
Charter capital: VND 354,998,850,000.
The Company registered an increase in charter capital to VND 262,498,850,000 through the issuance of 1,249,885 shares, equivalent to VND 12,498,850,000, to pay dividends to shareholders in accordance with the Resolution approved by the 2015 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
On January 21, 2011, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange signed Decision No. 09/2011/QD-SGDHCM approving the listing registration of shares of Petroleum Urban Development Investment and Development Joint Stock Company of Cuu Long.
On March 3, 2011, the Company officially listed its shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.

On April 2, 2008, the 5A – Mac Dinh Chi Urban Development and Resettlement Project in Ward 4, Soc Trang City, Soc Trang Province was officially transferred by the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Soc Trang Province from Minh Chau Construction and Trading Company Limited to Petroleum Urban Development Investment and Development Joint Stock Company of Cuu Long as the project owner, under Decision No. 297/QDHC-CTUBND.
On December 5, 2007, Petroleum Urban Development Investment and Development Joint Stock Company of Cuu Long was officially granted its Business Registration Certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Soc Trang Province.
The initial registered charter capital was VND 250,000,000,000.
On December 31, 2007, major shareholders contributed capital to the Company, including Ut Xi Aquatic Products Processing Joint Stock Company, PetroVietnam Finance Joint Stock Corporation, Saigon – Mien Tay Beer Joint Stock Company, Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) and several other major shareholders.
